These work well, but they do indeed pull through standard paper and are a bit thick for writing feedback on drafts of papers.

The product description says "bold point," however, after ordering one box and receiving a box of fine point pens, returning them, and then receiving another box of fine point pens, i opened the second shipment and realized that although the say fine point, the pen lays down a nice, think line of ink- perhaps a little thicker than a papermate medium point felt tip pen.  Read Less
