It's an atypical but helpful use & the only way i'll use it. It is very soft, but sturdy. The quality is there.
Cons
Amazon takes shipping out of the price. Theis eraser is average size. Go to walmart, cheaper and larger.

I'm so happy i bought this eraser after digging myself out of a mountain of black dust from the papermate black pearl erasers.
All the smudges and extra sketch lines left on the paper completely disappear when i use it.

The cover is also good if youre like me and hate it when you lend someone your eraser which has nice unused corners and they can somehow dull all the corners that youve purposefully left unused
