Feels very high quality and sturdy. Nothing feels 'cheap' despite it being a lower priced chess set.
Christmas present for my chess obsessed son. My nearly 7 years enjoys his game. My 8 year old loves playing chess and decided to teach me play.

It is very sturdy and great quality which i would highly recommend to any chess lover.
The pieces are magnetic to the board so they aren't knocked over easily (especially when you have a 2 year old around!
Unfortunately one of my friends lost and threw the set and a piece snapped.

Perfect for a beginner like me and fairly affordable.
This chess is worth the price and especially for a kids set.
You could spend £5 and get a very cheap, non-magnetic, breakable chess set, or you could spend £100+ and get luxury.
Overall, a happy purchase and i would argue it is worth the price.

I have not played another though i feel sure the size would allow for a game without squinting at the pieces too much for recognition or the pieces just getting lost or camoflauged when playing
