Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a fine, brainless read. Definite goodread. Great story and awesome adventures with percy.
Percy, annabeth, and thalia go to bar harbor to help. Apollo's explanation of the astrological sun and the philosophical sun is spot on.
The series has a high plausibility factor if you squint, tilt your head, and close one eye. Rick riordan's use of foreshadowing is great.
There are some new characters introduced and some old ones surfacing back up to cause havoc. He protects the people he loves with a fierceness that is admirable. Their interactions are hilarious and you can feel the sibling bond between them.
Cons

Highlights
Quality
I'm also very pleased with the inclusion of one of my favorite greek myths here.
Price
Clarisse is already on a sneaky one.
Competitiveness
As always a great mix of ancient greece mythology and modern world.
The least the oracle could’ve done was walk back to the attic by herself.
It was fun seeing this god play apart in a story set in the modern world.
