Pros

Clamp works perfectly with a digital thermometer that i also purchased from amazon. Permits clipping to the interior of the oven or gas grill and provides a higher maximum temperature exposure. Works perfectly for my heatermeter bbq * controllers.

Pipe clamp thermocouples generally seem to be overpriced and under engineered. The steel casing is much more durable than the fiberglass thermoworks. The original probe got crimped and had an intermittent fault - after 8 years use.

Cons

The clamp is ok for the suction line on your home ac unit but it does not the smaller liquid line. The lead wire is too rigid and very easy to *.

Will not buy again. Not recomend. Its *. Would not recommend. Don't bother. Sadly, as they say, you get what you pay for.
