I have not used this item yet,but it seems to be well made, very pleasing to my eye as far as ascetics and is what i ordered.
I have used badger, and boar, would not recommend boar, unless you like a stiff brush, and if i ever wear out a badger brush.
I've tried badger, boar and synthetic and really keep coming back to this brush.

Its a fairly small brush and a little scratchy on the face

Its hard to rate a brush after about six shaves but the bristles which are fairly scratchy at first seem softer after several shaves
