This bowl would however fit other purposes so i recommend it just not for shaving

If you soak and press the soap in the bowl it will stick to the bottom and not spin around

The only thing to note is if you want to form your soap in the bowl you cant microwave this bowl due to the metal and the boiler method doesnt work well as the bowl is double walled and thus fairly well insulated

I bought one supposedly made of horn previously but the horn started pealing off and the bowl itself started warping badly
