Love the hinges. It's great, it's sturdy. It does what’s advertised.

Cons

The lights snap onto the bottom of flimsy plastic hood with no protection from the water at the top of the tank.

Considering that, the price of over $40 is outrageous. It's most definitely not worth $80. Btw a replacement now costs 72 bucks.

It's very flimsy and if you have stubborn cats who jump on top of it, it's a potential disaster. It also is a single piece and not able to be folded up for water changes.

The qr code could not be read from my phone. It actually appears to not be new and that it was an item returned and resold.

Nice hood, easy open, good fit, cutouts for filter and heater.

A very high-quality replacement, and a snap to use.

Lights failed , very bright and after a while when dark

Half the lights went out after 2 years.

The price is low for an aquarium light.

The hole isn’t much larger than a matchbox and i ended up just putting some clear packing tape over it.

I had one similar to this one for several years.

I know the price is not the best, but if you look at other aquarium hoods with lights, they are much more expensive.
