Pros

Permatex 20353 ultra disc brake caliper lube, 2 oz. Used to install new calipers on my 2005 highlander. Great value considering the the little plastic packages at the auto parts stores are over $2. Used it to lubricate the slide pins all of my vehicle...  Read More

Cons

The product is deceptive. It is not for use on caliper pins, sleeves, or pistons. It will not work on brake side calipers with rubber in it or with rubber boot.

It is not compatible with the rubber boots and bushings. The product is supposed to be excellent on metal to metal surfaces only. The boot is filled with black tar like gunk.

Permatex has the worst customer support. Even the green version has similar reviews. Emailed permatex about this. Its true what other reviewers say.

Great product for the price, and it works great.

Good price on here too if you are looking to save some money and have a quality product.

Had several brake jobs to do and bought this as the price and size were acceptable.

Shipping

I just received my order and haven't used it yet but with little research, this stuff should be okay for caliper pins.

Competitiveness

There are other brands cheaper, but i haven't heard of those.

This will last sooooo much longer than that junk at the chain auto stores.
