Once it’s in place it is extremely water proof and fuel proof and oil proof.
Took the carb off to clean it all up and the o-ring/gasket in the float bowl broke.

You could still find the odd can for -$50, but c’mon, it’s a can of sealant.

The gasket needs to have a good seal and then this stuff will not only hold the gasket during assembly it will insure a good seal when finished
