Pros
It's not the easiest thing in the world, but if you follow the instructions to a tee you'll be ok. Followed the instructions and make sure to choose asuny day to do it. But must be read manual and follow every step by step.
Cons
This product is very finicky and may work on some chips provided the resin can flow thru completely. No indicator of any sort on the resin container so you don't know how much is left. Really need stronger adhesive for the applicator.
Process itself is very complicated and you have to wait a long time for it to bond. Don't waste your time and money, spend the extra 10 bucks and get it done by a professional. Not worth the risk.

It can apply good vacuum and pressure and the resin holds up well in the repair.
This product worked very well and corrected my windshield chip.
Bought this to fix a small crack on my windshield as a stupid rock flew at my car from a dump truck.
It won't work on large or long cracks that extend past the kit's sealing device.
Price
Saved me a couple of hundred dollars

Competitiveness
I added a step where i used car wax to polish the repair spot, before cleaning the windshield with windex or your preferred glass cleaner.
The cost compared to professional repair shops is absolutely worth it.

Other kits you can do 815 repairs with but downside to them the resin wasn’t as good of quality in my case

Its best to pick a sunny day with moderate temperatures and you need to be able to park the car both in the shade first then in the sun second to cure the resin with the ultraviolet rays

When all was said and done i myself could not tell exactly where the repaired spot was
