You will need to stir the coating often to catch the dip as it starts to stick in the bottom so you can extinguish the flame

The platform where the candle sits is domed up so avoid picking up the cup if the candle is lit because it will shift and might pour hot wax on you

I use a little sticky dot to hold the candle in place near the edge of its platform

If you need replacemet candles sure to use the short tea light candles like the ones that come with it not the regular thickness ones
