Pros & Cons
Pros
It is very transparent green when looking through a single perimeter (vase) at direct angles, when at an off angle, it shimmers and shines. Is more translucent than the sunlu i've been using. The white filament is a nice bright white color, and the pa... Read More
Need to tun retraction but had no problems with adhesion or clogging. Works better in hotter environments (inside a car, outside in the sun)flexible (great for 'clips' type things) still reasonably safe with a capricorn tube (ptfe can squeak by for a ... Read More
No stringing, great adhesion to the print bed. A bit stringy but cleaned up easy enough. This has slightly more fine strings than prusament, when printing something that can accentuate stringiness.
It is cost-effective and works well. Super easy to use. No cons, works great, where i am very happy with the purchase.
This filament works just fine but has an almost elastic quality if printing too fast. My printer is well dialed in, and i found zero issues printing with with it.
Cons
This stuff is extremely brittle. The hours of frustration is not worth the hassle.
Thought the peta is supposed to be better than the pla. Now it's jammed my tubing. The filament is ok, but the winding *! And, to make matters worse, the 'white' is not white!
Filament goes up around the print nozzle and forms huge blobs. Every couple of hours the roll has a tangle the printer can't get past and the print fails.
Highlights
Quality
No cons, works great, where i am very happy with the purchase.
Good product, works best at 215* on my cr10s will need to tinker with retraction settings to prevent stringing.
The printer needs to be 75c-80c for the petg to stick well.
Not vary often that you will have a problem i will continue to buy this product.
Competitiveness
Good performing petg filament in my replicator 2 3d printer.
I print a ton of stuff to sell and this is by far one of my favorite new petg filaments.
Currently, though, this stuff appears to be closer to $20/kg, and there are better options at that price.
I'm printing at 250c with a 85c build plate.
