Pros

The pump is so quiet we got rid of the foamy insulation the fountain came with. Routine maintenance is cheaper and less stressful than repair or outright replacement.

Comes with male and female ends of quick disconnect.

The wire is finicky and if you bend it the wrong way it seems to stop working. The smaller cover part is supposed to be already on the chord with the pump. This forces the user to pull on the wires while trying to clean the pump until the wires break ... Read More

Simple installation, one-two-three and i have a working fountain again!

This pump is super quiet, easy to clean, and easy to swap.

We didn’t take good care of the original pump so it’s stopped working after 6 months.

After a year or so of constant use, the pump my eversweet came with became noisy.

I liked that i could order this item and have confidence that i could easily replace the fountain pump and it arrived the next day.

Packaging/appearance

I think some people might be confused when opening the package and seeing the three wire tail.

The only reason it got one star off is (1) inside the box is the pump, no other protection, not even plastic.

Competitiveness

In comparison, i have bought similar pumps from other brands for fish tanks over 5 years ago & they are still running.
