Pros

This is the best water fountain i've bought for my little fella. It has a smaller footprint than our last. The other cat likes to drink and play with water from a spigot.

The base is what is plugged in (though it charges, so can be run for a while not plugged in). The fountain still works normally while charging. The sensor works very well. The best feature is that this pump is battery powered.

Cons

Switched to plug in and after 6 weeks it no longer works. The filter replacements i bought are 4 months worth but one filter lasted 3 days.

The base always has issues connecting to the pump, and keeps flashing the “low water level’ light. This fountain constantly leaks. From the reviews on here, it seems like most people don't have this leaking issue. It’s literally impossible to get it c... Read More

The sensor fails to recognize my cat still wants to continue drinking water and the flow does not resum. The other options are just timer based or motion based, and the motion based detection is not great.

I was skeptical of the quality of carbon used in these filters but was pleasantly surprised.

It's wireless capability is a must-have for cats obsessed with strings/wires and the all you have to do is remove the base to recharge.

Fairly simple set-up, had some trouble figuring out how to get the filter in the top compartment, though.

It could be a little longer, and charging takes hours.
