The cat-proof locking lid keeps my naughty guy out of there. I have one cat who is highly motivated by food and would cry all day in between feeding times.
The portions are quite small (good for kittens), but you can multiply the total portions per meal. Easy to set up with 6 different times to dispense food & different portion options.
Cons
Review is for the non-wifi enabled feeder model plaf008. I was offered 20% off a new unit. No replacement, no refund, no practical solution to my problem. Gave up and returned this.
It defaults to maybe 2 feeding schedules until i reset it again. Happens every few weeks even with troubleshooting and rebooting. I have to reprogram the feeding times everyday because randomly the feeder will reset and the programed times will disapp... Read More
This is completely unacceptable. Super disappointing. A little frustrating.
This is problematic if i want to leave for a day or two. Came home to an empty dish and a very hungry cat many times. The kibble is no larger than 5mm and does not ever get stuck.

Every week i have to update the clock so they're "the same time" but they keep drifting (one speeding up and the other is slowing down).

It is amazing to be able to purchase this at retail for around $40.

Essentially the product has a minimum portion 124 of a cup and you just set times and the number of 124cup portions to be dispensed at each time

I have not measured the electrical current consumption but even at 10ma assuming the engineers have done a really good job i calculate 150 days max

I would guess that either plan on changing the batteries 34 times a year or use the batteries as a power fail backup you can have batteries and wall power connected at the same time

I think in a typical 1 or 2cat household refilling it once per week would be adequate
