The kennel is surprisingly sturdy and yet free of sharp surfaces that could hurt a dog. It allows for plenty of ventilation. The metal of the door and lock mechanism are sturdy.

My whippet scrunched up, ducked his head, and pulled in his legs whenever i took out the yardstick. I have a french bulldog who fits just fine in this kennel.

The locking mechanism for this crate is part plastic. It arrived with a very poorly-fitting door. Do not under any circumstance ship your pet in one of these.

Shipped without hardware. Missing 2 bolts. The shipping box was also damaged and a little wet. The sizing seems a bit off too. I'm sure something was dropped on it.
