Pros

House comes in 2 pieces, top & bottom. I wish the top affixed securely to the bottom. However made of good material and durable.

There are cats that have shown up on my property that no one ever claims despite my best efforts, so i have them spayed/neutered. They live here with food and shelter and these are perfect for them when it rains.

Pookie is a small chihuahua about 7 lbs. He plus his big fluffy bed fit in the house. This size of house is for cats and really small dogs like chihuahuas and pomerianas.

Cons

I am very disappointed that it gets soaking wet inside when it rains. I'm pretty sure that's not what myself, or anyone for that matter, would be expecting. Would never buy again. Petmate totally misrepresents this product.

Top of house does not lock securely onto the bottom of the house. Lid/roof is too wide- it wont snap shut. Very poor design execution.

Easy to setup and sturdy little doghouse

This product is the most durable, weather-resistant, low-maintenance, easy-to-clean option that i’ve used.

This might not be a good option if the house is going to be directly out in the elements without a covering as it might get water in it.

I lined it with foil insulation, placed a sheet of cardboard on the bottom and installed an outdoor pet heating pad.

Price

He is worth every penny great mouser.

An inexpensive, high quality, solidly built, easy to assemble outdoor cat house.

I get these cheaper on amazon than at any big box store.

But for the price, i would buy it again.
