Pros

The pump itself is easy to take apart and clean. I take it completely apart, spray all interior parts with clorox cleanup, wash with dawn and hot water, rinse well and dry. Then reassemble and add clean water a coupleof times a week.

The cat loves the option of * off the ramp, or using her paw in the bowl. Our cats seem to love it.

We humans just wish it was a bit quieter. Sometimes it is a bit noisy but that is when it either needs to be cleaned or needs more water and is too low. The sound is a good reminder on when to fill it.

Cons

Water leaking all over, lots of noise. It runs really loud and has barely a trickle of water. I have two 30lb dogs and a chihuahua - all of them would not drink from this device. Plastic water fountains have been linked to kidney failure in cats.

There is constantly things at bottom of the brown, bits of what looks like dirt. This requires checking on the water levels more often even with 2 other fountains are full?

Same scum. It is now on it's way to the dump.
