Pros

It's an older style pet water fountain, of yesteryear. I am purchasing my third fountain since 2021, it is now may 2024.

No splashing or sprinkling thanks to the ramp. They drink from the area where the flow cascades down to the basin. My cat likes moving water, just a stream or a ripple, not a splashing waterfall.

Cons

Water leaking all over, lots of noise. It runs really loud and has barely a trickle of water. I have two 30lb dogs and a chihuahua - all of them would not drink from this device. Plastic water fountains have been linked to kidney failure in cats.

There is constantly things at bottom of the brown, bits of what looks like dirt. This requires checking on the water levels more often even with 2 other fountains are full?

Same scum. It is now on it's way to the dump.

As long as you keep it clean and dont let the water run out, it doesn't make much noise at all.

And it's still very affordable compared to many of the newer designed pet water fountains out there these days.
