Pros
We have a cat with cerebellar hypoplasia. He loves this one because it is quiet, doesn't gurgle, etc. This is my second one, i have two little yorkies and less automatic watering system is great for them.
It flows just fine. The charcoal return filter can get a little obstructed and when that happens the pump will move more water than can return back to the pump sump.
Cons
Water is pouring all over when you need to refill. It is virtually impossible to refill without getting water everywhere, except in the drinking bowl. It still works, but the pump isn't actually strong enough to bring debris towards the filter.

Easy to assemble and my fur babies love it!
It holds a goodly amount of water and runs so quietly that i sometimes forget it’s there.
Love the fountain - but the night my purchase return date expired the motor stopped working.
About every 2-3 days i unplug it to give the motor a break.
Price
I have paid full price for this product.
I paid $70 for it at a pet store.
However, i just ordered one on amazon for under $30 so i thought why not.
I bought this because of the water storage tank and the low price.
Shipping
Shipped quickly and good price, considering i will use it for a few years.
Packaging/appearance
Keep in mind the tape i have to use to keep it in place have left marks since i used packing tape the first time.
Competitiveness
I like this 10x better than the popular bubbly or faucet style fountains.

So i recommend for several reasons but i also listed warnings to be prepared for if you own “unique” cats

I have 4 cats and all but one use it the last one is old and only drinks out of the bathtub because she just enjoys being difficultwarnings not necessarily bad things just things to be prepared for

Reservoir is clear which you think…oh this will be so handy so the motor won’t burn out and i’ll know when to refill

Yes there is a filter for the fountain part but the bottom area after two days you’ll see dirt at the bottom
