I then tried other grooming mitts with short nubs that were similar to this petmate mitt but the nubs on the other mitts were arranged differently and had more space between them so the mitts didnt pick up as much fur as the petmate mitt

It does massage the coat of the dog while washing but i found that it traps hair into the rubber being difficult to get out

You run it in a certain direction to pick the hair up then use your hand going the other direction to get the hair off the glove and into the trash

I then used the comb briefly on one of the dogs just to check how well the hand brush worked very little came out

It says that the petmate furbuster straps allow a universal fit size but my 5 95 lb wife has naturally small hands and her hands just flop around inside

I am a 6 193 lb man with medium size hands and it is still slightly to large and i have to spread out my fingers as far as i can to get it to work

So my wife who does most of the dog bathing of our exciteable chihuahuas who settle down for her but not me doesnt use the glove
