I was actually a bit surprised to feel how relatively lightweight the packaging box was compared to how strong the actual carrier is.
This thing is huge - it looks great though and my cat seems to enjoy it, i just didn't expect it to be so big.
Competitiveness
The handle is also a lot thinner than other petmate brand carriers i own so it's less comfortable in my fingers.

It could be because a round carrier needs so much more space for storage than a classic rectangle
