Pros

Door is narrower than the sliding door so may shim it either side to hold it in place. It also blends in well with my existing sliding door.

At first kitty didn't seem to like using the door. She prefers somebody open the door for her to let her in and out. Cats go directly from home to the outside cattery through this door, where potty, food, and water are.

Cons

The plastic door that closes over the flap is useless. The directions are worse than ikea.

My only complaint is i had a difficult time sealing the 'joint' between the actual patio door and the petsafe door.

I agree with the other reviewers about the quality of the pet door.

So overall it should do the job but some real annoying quality and design issues.

One less star because had to buy more insulation nor enough with the door.

At this price cleared ikea style instruction would be better3.
