Pros

The dish size is perfect but a little crowded under the lid. The tray is connected for easy cleaning. It is fairly sturdy and easy to operate.

I have one cat who eats everyone's food, so i can't leave out quantity. I have a very food motivated cat who stresses if she doesn't eat frequently.

It has 30 minute increments all the way around. It's not a clock but a timer, so when you close the door set the timer to how many hours you want the door to open. Our cats tend to come begging for food at 3:00 am.

Cons

The instructions illustrate arrows moving in a counter clockwise motion. On 2/4 feeders, this didnt work, and the timer just stayed where it was. Looking for another feeder with a different timer.

The price is tempting, but it is honestly a waste. Very disappointed. Returning item for a refund.

It is nearly impossible to accurately schedule meal time for the cats due to how the timer works. This dial is incredibly loosely affixed with a poor set mechanism.

I imagine it's a snug fit because if the pet jostled the dish and the battery came lose, the device is inoperable.

Nothing fancy, so the likelihood of failure is limited to a product defect or expired battery.

Very easy to use, if u need an inexpensive feeder this is a good one.

Highly recommend for its versatility and affordability.

Must set timer every night but for the price, it was worth it.

Otherwise true to the description and great price.

I don't remember if this came with an ice pack, some do, some you have to purchase separately if you are using for wet food.

As an option, there are similar dishes that cost slightly more.

I suppose there are more expensive dishes that can be controlled using wifi and an app.
