Cons
I religiously clean the pump and unit and this simply just stopped pumping. The reservoir chamber releases water in a steady stream or in big glugs and that causes the bowl to fill and the excess to spill onto the floor.
Even though they claim it fits, it does not. No way to contact seller for warranty.

Easy to install and works exactly as needed!
The original pump was getting loud and obnoxious even with regular cleanings.
After 10 years the original pump on one of them finally gave out.

Reasonably priced replacement pump for the kitties' water fountain.
I broke the pump to my cat’s water fountain and this was an inexpensive fix that saved me from having to buy a whole new fountain.
Sure was a lot cheaper than buying a new fountain!
This was way better priced then replacing the fountain.

Works great, fits just like the original one and at a much better price than the brand name.
From my experience, the petsafe brand pumps last the longest.
An ac pump needs an ac power supply and similarly a dc water pump needs a dc power supply.

Looking at my previous two orders the order dates show that this product lasts about 14 months average

This replacement pump isn’t as durable as the original factory one that comes with the fountain but it’s still cheaper than buying a new fountain outright

I believe the pumps burn out due to leaving it continuously running 247 and gunk and cat hair does get into the inside the pump
