Pros

Easy recommendation. Much cheaper then purchasing in stores. Can go in the dishwasher.

The zen sized filters are perfect for a drinkwell pet fountain.

Cons

Awful, smelly, slimy mold after purchasing and using these for a few months. Disappointing and buyer beware.

The carbon in this filter starts to disintegrate from day 1. After a week of use the water turned a milky white. Defective, wouldn't stop leaking carbon into the water even after pre-rinsing it.

The filters come in a brown cardboard box with no writing or company identification. The membrane covering the charcoal on these filters is too coarse and allows the charcoal into the water.
