Here are a few tips i did to make my install smoother. The video that is in the pics for the product was helpful. Every slider is different and not 100% perfectly installed.
The magnet-flap works well and even in high wind it has only blown open once. It also has a nice magnetic strip which keeps the dog door sealed when not in use.
Cons
The flap is very unreliable. The upper panel that is supposed to be adjustable doesn't fit in the groove of the sliding door.
I bough thick foam weatherproofing tape and it still showed about 1/4. It's not until now, when i of course can't return the item and be refunded, that it's 20-30 degrees outside and ruining our heating bill.
The product is not as depicted in the picture. No real way to effectively use it without some major diy adjustments. Didn't even last 50 cycles.

The best investment i’ve made in a long time!
This is very well built and designed.
And in manufacture they left lots of sharp edges--bad--not smart--so tape over the sharp edges and get only the low threshold.
I added one inch asphalt infused weather stripping for a tighter fit, and a door jam to press the door tight.
Price
It has been a few months of owning it now and it was worth every penny!
I wanted it installed permanently and i think for the price a sea for the door and panel should have a seal but i had some laying around.
Shipping
I called petsafe customer service and was quickly connected to a very friendly and helpful lady who had all the parts shipped to me.
My puppy took to it very quickly and we love the freedom he has now.
Replacement came quickly, which was a brand new version.
We just can't get dog to go through it lol but i'm happy with it and it came early as most of my orders .
Packaging/appearance
I ordered one that had damaged packaging and i did not have all the hardware in my box, but we are buying some things to make it work.
Comes with a nice cover to keep it locked when necessary.
Competitiveness
I will say however, that you'll need some better weather stripping, i've researched different products and will be making my purchase.
I should have bought the weather stripping they suggested, i just bought some at lowe’s .

It took longer than expected to install and is only sturdy if you screw it into the metal frame of your slider

In order to train him i would through out a treat and then initially hold the flap open for him to go out
