Pros
Dog head collar is the only way i can walk my 100lbs rotti mix pup. I walk confidently with them knowing i won't be pulled down or dragged into a dog fight. We own a dane/weimar mix who loves squirrels and a lab/* mix who love other dogs.
My golden retriever is a chronic tugger. This halter type leash is wonderful and pulling is much less. I add an extra leash connector from his leash to his neck collar for extra security.
Cons
The metal piece slides off so easily, and the plastic clip in the back literally won't hold the fabric leash piece. When i loosen it a bit, they walk better but either will paw to get it off their noses, or the loop will slide again.
Completely unsatisfactory. Not worth the trouble. Scary and very unsafe. The whole leader is worthless.
