Pros

Easy to install. Just take your time and follow the instructions. Allows my cat the freedom to come and go from the basement, where his litter box is located.

Petsafe is a great company with excellent customer service. It is aesthetically pleasing and easy to use. They're inexpensive and do the job.

Cons

The swinging mechanism is faulty and clunky. Flap has no magnet to hold it closed, so any breeze or door opening anywhere else in the house causes it to flap.

Easy install the flap does make some noise as they go through but it hasn’t bothered us any

It does make some metal on plastic noise when it swings but a great product overall

I ordered same item 17 years ago and after years of sun the plastic started to yellow

Unfortunately though it’s only been a month since we’ve installed the door and my cat has learned how to unlock it herself

For the price of this cat door ya cant beat it

This one was a great price and was pretty easy to install after removing a broken pet door

But for the price it was a quick and easy replacement and seems durable enough to last away
