Pros

Easy to install. Just take your time and follow the instructions. Allows my cat the freedom to come and go from the basement, where his litter box is located.

Petsafe is a great company with excellent customer service. It is aesthetically pleasing and easy to use. They're inexpensive and do the job.

Cons

The swinging mechanism is faulty and clunky. Flap has no magnet to hold it closed, so any breeze or door opening anywhere else in the house causes it to flap.

Easy install, the flap does make some noise as they go through but it hasn’t bothered us any.

I ordered same item 17 years ago and after years of sun the plastic started to yellow.

Now because my door is hollow it also left bare wood and side interior gaps.

Price

This one was a great price and was pretty easy to install after removing a broken pet door.

Not a fancy door, but very inexpensive for the quality.

But for the price, it was a quick and easy replacement and seems durable enough to last away.
