Cons
The locking studs disengage when a paired cat approaches. The unlock only remains unlocked with cats microchip for a few seconds. The catflap eats batteries at an unacceptable rate.
This is where the favourable comments end. Total waste of £43. Dreadful item. Trying to refund but being charged £3.
It also says it has a draught excluder but it is pretty poor.

This fitted straight into the existing hole and i left it on manual for a week as my kitten didn’t like it at all.

Only issue it is 4 xbattery operated so u have to keep an eye on it lasts approx 2 12months without having to change it

My cat was initially very reluctant to use the microchip cat flap the clicking that recognises the microchip is a bit noisy

This is the third one of these that i have bought but this newer model is slightly deeper than previous models and very very slightly wider

Do check your measurements for depth because this sticks out on the inside of the door and i had to just slightly shave the cavity with a handheld sander
