Pros

Red collar seems stiff at first but gets pliable/soft quickly. Petite size is perfect for my 11lb terrier mix. He has a skinny head so regular collars often slip off if he gets excited on the leash.

Martingale collars are a must. No fuss. No frill. Everything advertised and depicted online.

They are washable in the washer, which is great. The nylon material is machine washable so i throw the collar in with a load of my jeans, it dries quickly on the line.

Cons

This design has a flaw for certain breeds at certain ages. The seller recommend sizing up (get a small instead of xs) pulling on the d ring that is hooked to the leash does not make the collar tighter.

With that being said the collar that came with the tag fits my pitbull better and seems to do what i needed it for.

Price

I ordered the used one because of price was cheaper and some of the reviews said that the size was off for what u needed.

Competitiveness

While it can be a bit challenging to adjust (especially while on your furbaby), i never worry about it.

Our 55lb hound would back out of his collar on walks but not with this.
