Pros
This is a much more natural and gentler approach that leads to better results imo. This upgrade is perfect.
It works like a charm. The vibration mode is a plus. It works better when combined with treat rewards rather than just the collar alone.
Easy to refill the cartridges & they're decently priced at ~$3. The collar comes with 2 cartridges, one unscented and the other with a citronella scent. I wish that these canisters were refillable.
This traning colar is for adjustable, but more so for larger pups. It is to be used after you train your dog, as a final step. Works very well training 7 mon old puppy. Sometimes she gets nippy over the dog park water bowl.
Some people are a bit on gaurd when they see my dog. The spritz is enough to get his attention and make him stop.
Cons
The spray cartridge has a very limited capacity. We were very unhappy with this product, and buyer beware, it is not returnable.
The * on the remote aren't real *. You have to feel around the surface of the remote to find the outline of the 'button' the keyed plug makes it hard to plug it in.

It's a shame that what appears to be a good product fails in a very short period of time.

I was a bit skeptical about spending the money for it but, have absolutely no regrets.
They are about $10 for a pack of 3.
It is overpriced at the current price point in my opinion.

Competitiveness
I have used several different trainers, but this one is the best.
I've tried other products but this is the very best.
We had tried two other collars that didn't work.
If the product came with at least 10 refill cartridges, it would've been a better value.
