If the door stops sensing his motion or tag while he is doing his little ritual the door will start to lock as he is opening the door and the door will get stuck open in the direction he is going

As the door is stuck open it assumes the flap is jammed and will not do anything to resolve the problem

I have to manually set the door controls to open and then back to smart to have the door actuate the motor to get the flap back down and get everything back to normal

While doing his ritual if the door is open just the right amount when going into lock mode the door will jam and the mechanism inside the door will pop out of place resulting in a completely jammed door

I have been able to take the door apart and repair it but i do not think a normal consumer could fix the issue

One last thing if the surface you are installing in is warped at all the door flaps may not fully shut and the door will never work it needs to see the flaps fully shut to lock

We have had this product for 5 months with no issues that is until the clock battery decided to die killing the lcd screen functions
