Pros
The bubbler is quiet and is not intimidating to my cats. The pump is adjustable for how fast it circulates. It’s quiet, and my pups love it!
It has two stage filtration, a foam barrier around the pump. It uses both foam and ion-x filters to filter out impurities. So far it works well, hasn’t leaked, and my foster kittens are enjoying it.
Plastic seems to get “slimy” a little quicker. Most of the parts are dishwasher safe. Kudos on readable instructions with no grammatical errors.
Petsafe viva pet fountain for cats and small dogs is easy to setup. If you have a picky kitty or doggy, then this is definitely a lifesaver!
The burbling from the center hole is pleasant. The mat is there to prevent drips when kitty drinks from it. They like to stick their little paws in the flowing water. It has a great filter to get out anything they put in with their paws.
Cons
It is difficult to get the top lid secure. Even when it is the water would overfill and not drain back into the machine through the drainage slot like it was supposed to.

I do think the price is a little expensive i have a slightly larger one that i paid less for so i am taking a star off for value
The filters pac0017260 are very inexpensive and available through subscribe and save as well making them even more affordable
It’s not even a bad price for how amazing it is

Weve used other petsafe products too and theyve also consistently been winners
Both are currently available on amazon and the cost isnt too bad compared to other filters
For the sake of comparison my old pet fountains usually needed a new pump every couple years
