Pros & Cons
Pros
I have a siberian * who likes to wonder to my next door neighbors houses. Our dog hears the signal and runs back into the safety zone. The dog takes off after a squirrel and crosses the wire at full speed.
The only complaint i have is the battery life for the collar. Having the ability to add more collars is an awesome feature.
To save you the long winded review you can stop it works. This is awesome for us! This is the one you're looking for. This works perfectly.
This system is such a lifesaver. Patience is key. As far as the effectiveness, the system works great.
Cons
The collar is too big for my *!
Test light for checking sensor is so dim. It cannot be viewed outside on a cloudy day. The heat pump for the heating and air is outside by the left corner of the house.

Price
You can buy the collar batteries here on amazon for like $6 for a 2pack.
I wish the collars were rechargable, but the batteries aren't too pricey.

Got this very quick, the unit works great.
This time they sent us a collar for free within 10 days.
We called customer service and they sent us a new collar within a week at a discount.
He learned very quickly to stay away, training says 30 days we were done in 10.
Packaging/appearance
To note, the box is set up just as it asks.
~ the box is a bit bulky but it does come with a fairly long cord (this is a mixed con/pro i guess)~ the batteries aren't recha... Read More
Competitiveness
I have tried others and this particular one is the absolute best.
The collar went dead on this one in less than 3 months but thankfully petsmart had some in stock (much more expensive than amazon).
Use petsafe batteries (we bought a bunch of off brand batteries, it fried the collar eventually and petsafe said not to use the off brand.
Huge kudos to petsafe for making the collars individually adjustable.
