Pros
Epa helps with depression and brain 'fog' without the side effects of prescription anti-depressants such as weight gain on prozac. High epa content also helps reduce inflammation and improve mood.
High quality omega-3 is easy to take in capsule form with no * after taste. Pharmepa is a good company and as a nutritionist i can recommend these supplements. Better using high epa with some dha, both omegas are needed.
Cons
The packaging of this product is terrible. Comes in a flimsy plastic pressout. The number of capsules are only 60. Could have clearer advertising.

Those studies were undertaken in the us the reduceit trail and the strength trail feel free to search them and seem to indicate that a supplement higher in purified epa reduced the incident of cardiovascular events whereas a supplement containing both epa and dha at similar levels had no beneficial effect that is the dha may have counteracted the benefits of the epa

These capsules are produced in the uk so i assume they are subject to rigorous standards although i cant find any certification from regulatory bodies on the box

Their website states that they use gmpaccredited manufacturers in europe and the usa and they better the standards set by industry bodies such as ifos for maximum levels pcbs dioxins and mercury
