Pros
The sound is fantastic. The picture quality is outstanding. Although i use an external soundbar, the speakers are much better.
Room calibration makes a slight difference. Tv rotates on stand to view from any angle. And the ambient is so cool especially when watching action films.
Cons
Both the remote and smart tv connections are incredibly flaky. Remote control only intermittently works. Colour banding in darker scenes/areas was miserable.

I love ❤ this tv, best one i have ever owned, a top quality product from philips and at 70in, it's an excellent product.
Sound quality is very good as well as google enabled remote control is very convenient.
I’ve had this tv for around a month and the picture quality is amazing.
Price
In short, over the moon, bigger set, better picture,half the price!
Packaging/appearance
The ambilight was a super pleasant surprise, i've never had anything like that before.
Competitiveness
This has made a world of difference though so if you are thinking of a new tv be prepared to consider a soundbar too.
I love showing people the built in ambilight demos - really shows it off well.
My only word of caution is that the sound does feel tiny and disjointed from the screen action and i reluctantly purchased a soundbar.
We had a 47” ambilight before so knew what they were like.
