There is no remote control, but i was quickly able to register and control the machine via the philips app, downloaded to my phone.

I bought this philips unit on the basis of less changes of filters, quiet running and the brand.
It is not the cheapest on the market, but for the advantages it has over it's rivals, i would say it is worth the price tag.
In summary i do like this purifier, it's expensive compared to other non branded purifiers.
