Pros & Cons
Pros
The philips air purifier has 3 automatic purification settings. The fan is whisper quiet and even on the highest fan setting it’s barely noticeable. The unit is also very very quiet.
Ideal for allergy sufferers - it really seems to be effective at monitoring air quality. I have a dog and do occasionally suffer with allergies and hay fever, especially during the summer months.
It's handy to turn it on and off remotely. The app provides you with tracking data of pollution and allergen levels. It tells you how far along the filters are before needing cleaning/replacing.
This is a bit fiddly but once done gives satisfying results. This new model is smaller and has more features - an improvement in my opinion.
The multi lingual instruction manual is as always essential reading. It informs, recommends and warns e. The machine displays a number indicating the air quality and the app also shows numbers corresponding to to nearby places.
