It played every recordable media i put in it which was my biggest issue with other dvd players

The only drawback and this appears common among more recent dvd players and not really worthy of a demotion is no time display screen

I bought this all region dvd player because there are movies being offered on amazon prime that will not play on region 1 dvd players
