Pros

Bass, mids, and treble are well balanced, and the large and open ear cups give these headphones a spacious soundstage. The very highest registers could feel a little screechy (rarely) because they are emphasized.

The shp9500 are incredibly comfortable and have a sturdy yet lightweight build that feels durable. The 9600 is much sturdier than i expected and feel these should last for many years.

The sennheiser 600 hd is known as a reference headphone. Works great for identifying enemies on a 3d game (i. Enemies in 3d games) the 600 hd isn't as flat and analytical as the sony mdr-v900's.

The headphones go from 6-7/10 to perfection. A dac gives these a great boost if you don't pay for a premium streaming service.

Very disappointed. Will not buy and will advise my friends+family against it" overall comfort isn't bad, but it isn't good either. Do your research on other brands or you will be disappointed.

Even with light clamping - it still felt like it was clamping all the wrong places. Not made for people with heads like mine. Sound is flat, and they're incredibly uncomfortable.

Even a casual listener can detect poor quality, especially for you audiophiles out there. Sound quality for both microphone and headset are quite poor. The sound leakage of this product is severe. Other 5-star raters described they would be.

Volume/loudness is underwhelming, and the bass is non-existent compared to the sonys i bought from kohl's years ago. The volume is actually better with the headphones off with how much noise bleeds out.

Claimed the cable (came with product) is accessory and not covered by warranty. Secondly the customer support philips has is trash. They don't even have customer support, it's all technical support and warranty.

I’ve had countless pairs of $200 plus gaming headphones wireless and not and these were so much better than anything i’ve ever tried.

I use this while working and listening to spotify or xm and these sound just as good or perhaps better than my $300 bose headphones.

Honestly, i felt the shp9600 still retrieves details just like the shp9500, it's just two steps back.

I've had lots of gaming headsets, all top of the line brands.
