You may not need them but at the very least the firmware update is a musthave you can update it with your phone in just a few minutes i did it on an iphone im assuming the android works the same

When working out if im doing bent over rows i just take the earbuds off because i know they will fall out

Putting a hat over them causes them to want to push out either its because they stick out too far or the fit isnt very tight

I think a squishy foam sleeve instead of rubber would solve this issue
