Pros

Excellent product and goos price. Owner is thrilled with the product. I rated this equipment higher than norm.

The sound quality is close to excellent, nice treble and pounding bass. It's small and the sound is loud enough for me.

It's a good beginner/basic stereo. The only downfall is the battery that comes with it, is horrible. The remote is a bit flimsy, but it's a remote.

Cons

At 3am volume level (low), it sounds awful and tinny. This has no bass and no treble at all.

Major issue with this product concerns usb functionality. The unit is so old that the manual only refers to usb 1. Also you have to specially format any usb drive in fat32, 512 k sectors, because the technology is 13 years old and will not read a newl... Read More

This unit is compact but very good quality and sound .

My amazon fire tablet is attached to it and the bluetooth connection just drops and reconnects like two or three while its playing.

Basically maxed out at 30 - sounded like whisper-5 on the volume indicator.

Price

In any case, a very nice unit for the price.

Didn’t want to spend a great deal of money and was very happy to get a name brand product at a reasonable price.

For the price i am not sure if one could buy a better sounding system.

Packaging/appearance

Whoever at philips did the packaging also did a really nice job.

First off, the vast majority if not all of the packaging is recyclable.
