Quality
I've had no problems with the player, it looks great on my little 19 tube-tv, sounds great channeled through my little shelf stereo system.
The quality, features and picture are excellent.
One definite negative is the quality of sound reproduction from cds and mp3s.
Price
It is an exceptional player regardless of price.
I have bought two from amazon already (first one cost me $80 and the second $75 after the price was reduced yet again).
I'm very pleased,and the price was right,as well.
Shipping
(qa does need improvement, but statistics show most defective items were damaged in shipping.
I ordered it sunday, it arrived friday (same week)by standard shipping.
Packaging/appearance
Plays all the formats specified in the manual2.
Competitiveness
Best $76 i've spent in a loooong time.
Much better than expected for a [the price] dvd player.
It does carry a manufacturer 90-day exchange, and a 1-year limited exchange warranty (one-way shipping at your own expense).
It has standard and s-video outputs and stereo audio.

Even the instruction manual is readable and written in common sense language so that you dont have to be an engineer to understand the instructions

I too just managed to snag one of these from amazon for 69 plus tax 76 total i live in seattle so i get dinged for sales tax after they had been out of stock for a short while
