Best cordless iron i’ve ever had great steam production lightweight and quick to heat upbig water tank and makes ironing easy

Move forwards 50 yearsthis is the modern equivalent, and i love iti find cords catch on clothes and add the drudgery of ironing.

The iron didn't stay hot for long, i was used to putting my philips one back on the base (quickly and without any extra movemen...  Read More

I think i paid £80-£90 for it.

It cost me £65 (on special offer) in john lewis.

The price has increased by a far amount since i purchased it, so keep an eye on flunctuating prices.

Shipping

It arrived a few days ago and i have to say what a great iron it is.

Packaging/appearance

In fact the box the iron came in promised “ultimate freedom” in more than one language, hyperbole obviously but at least partially true.

I had to scroll through so many of their model numbers to register my purchase as the invoice & box number did not match.

Competitiveness

We've used a very similar philips cordless iron for the last couple of years, and this one appears just as good.

The main difference is of course there is no cord or steam hose with a tank iron getting in the way when ironing and you can reach into awkward spots that a corded iron couldnt reach

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The second difference is how light the iron is because like a tank iron the power is in the docking station not in the iron itself

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

That means you can iron for longer without tiring your hands or arms

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

As for performance the iron has a decent 2400w and a 190g steam boost

You do have to be disciplined in putting the iron back in the holder regularly so it can recharge otherwise it will run out of steam

And you might need an extension lead unless you have a socket thats close to where you want to iron the lead is only 1
