The build quality is great! Very nice and classy. I think for the current asking price of around 150, the pros are solid enough to be worth recommending.

Controls are straightforward and easy to use. Simple manufacturers defect no biggie. Even using aptx hd was a breeze. I'm on a 2018 surface 6 tablet, so that may have something to do with it.

Cons

Philips = ripoff, no accountability, no corporate citizenship. Their 1-year warranty is worthless as is their support department. My only recourse is to warn others to buy something else.

The headset is heavy and the headband is thin and porous. The sound cuts out when you move your head too quickly. The headset turns itself off after 5 minutes if no sound is coming through.

They are now unusable. I’m distraught at the fact they’ve broken. I was devastated.

Forget spending hundreds and save your money.

I purchased them used for $42 and change on amazon.

Competitiveness

The sound quality is better than the q30s imo, especially in the mid to high ranges.

They work with my iphone and my laptop and even microsoft teams.

The acceptable,the anc is acceptable, and better than most of the mid range anc units that i have used.

I don't know how they compare to bose/sony contemporaries.
