The iron has an auto cut off so the thermostat enables it to switch off when not in use

I cant tell you much about cleaning as i use deionised water but the decalc cleaning system apparently works i dont trust these though

The temperature gauge is easily adjustable as is the steam although it only has two settings steam and steamier

I have previously used full steam generator irons and whilst the results are high quality the room turns in to a steam room sauna affair and the noise is a wee bit excessive

Over the years ive perfected ways of hanging clothes straight from the washing machine to minimise creasing so that they can get away without being ironed

I ironed two heavy kingsize duvet covers sheets pillowcases plus a pile of shirts and assorted linen clothing just back from holiday and at the end of it my arm wasnt aching
