It's a bit pricy, but it fits that hue ecosphere. I use this with apple homekit and it works flawlessly. Required a device handler to work with smart things without a hue hub.

Philips/signify has no documentation or guides on how to remove the battery cover. Sent them screenshots of the steps i took, they wound up baffled and suggested i delete the app and reinstall it.

If you wait more than 2 years, the device is no longer under warranty. This is not eligible for return so you have to call customer service to negotiate with phillips.
