Pros

This globe bulb is absolutely beautiful yet it far surpasses any edison style bulb i've encountered in terms of light output, quality, consistency among other hue filament bulbs. Granted not all of the style appeal is from these bulbs, but the fixture... Read More

They get plenty bright and plenty dim. On the bright end of the range, they really kick out the lumens. They are a no brainer if you have other hue lights in your home.

Philips has the market cornered a bit, and that's reflected in the pricing. The only negative is the price.

They are perfect. They are aesthetically pleasing. They look good, and they're well built. Overall a very good and attractive product.

The leds are in the shape of an incandescent filament coil, and give off a soft, yellow, warm glow. The color temperature ranges from a clear 4500k cool white to a sublimely cozy 2200k warm white.

Cons

These bulbs are terrible. They have a sickly green tint at white light with a green tint coming from the top of the bulb. Count me as another buyer with a dud bulb.

It blinks and does not dim. Random full brightness. No smart plug, no dimmer, etc.

And on a sale they become a solid value.

Should a 3000k version of these be released i would likely jump on them.
